Archiving your files makes it simpler to backup the information in your site. Instead of downloading and backing up one file at a time, you can archive all your files into one or fewer compressed files.

This system permits compressing folders and their contents -- single files cannot be compressed by themselves. The archived files are in ZIP format (for PC only); you can find the program at www.winzip.com  There is no archiving support for Apple systems at this time.

Use this control to switch among your directories. The Current Directory shows the physical path where the Zip Current Directory command is to effect.

To switch to a directory select it by using the pull down menu and click on Go Into Directory. This will show you any folders within that directory. To back out of a sub folder simply click back on your web browser. This way you can navigate anywhere in your site.

1. Locate the folder that you wish to compress.
2. Enter a name for the zip archive file to be created.
3. Click on Zip Current Directory. 

The selected folder is shown in the pull down field to the left of the Go Into Directory button.
