ADDING SUB DOMAINS



Charges:

- Adding sub domains: Free.
- Redirecting sub domains: $5 per year.

Note: You must own a domain name first before adding a sub domain.

 

There are three ways of enabling sub domains:

Adding a sub domain to root folder

Adding a sub domain to a sub folder

Redirecting a sub domain

1. Sub Domain Name: Add name of new URL to add to your account
2. Click on on the Add Sub Domain button and proceed

Add Sub Domains in this format:

  123.domain.com

 

  www.123.domain

 

  www.123.domain.com

 

  http://www.123.domain.com

 

 

Adding Sub Domain Names to Sub Folder(s)  [ Learn more ]


1. Sub Domain Name: Add name of new URL to add to your account
2. Map To: Enter the subfolder path where the sub domain should point
3. Click on on the Add Sub Domain button and proceed

Add Sub Domains in this format:

  123.domain.com

 

  www.123.domain

 

  www.123.domain.com

 

  http://www.123.domain.com

 

 

Redirecting Sub Domains to Another URL


This function allows bouncing one web site to another. In other words, when the user types one URL you can have the browser automatically take you to a different URL. For example: You type 123.domain.com and the system will automatically take you to anothersite.com

1. Sub Domain Name: Sub Domain that users will enter in the browser
2. Redirect To: Sub Domain where users will be redirected
3. Click on on the Add Domain button and proceed
