Add/Mod Product

Once categories are configured into the E-Commerce Wizard start adding your products under their corresponding categories. Always work on a single product category at a time. For example, when working with Category Telephones, first add the simplest kind of telephones (Level 1), then add products for Answering Machines and Cordless Telephones (Level 2). Finally, add the products for Digital Answering Machines and Cordless Telephone Answering Machines (Level 3). Repeat this process for all the product categories planned for your store.

Delete/Modify Product

Use these functions to make changes to already existing products: 
1. Select your product from the pull down menu
2. Delete: Click to remove the category completely
3. Modify: Click to make changes

Generate Buy Tag: This tool will produce a buy button for the product selected
Link Only: This tool will generate a text string coded to work like a buy button

Add a New Product

When adding new products, work by adding units from one categorical group before moving onto units from another group. Enter each categorical unit information at a time.

Enter information for one particular product at a time. This is a sample of how products added to the shopping cart will show online. Products of one single category are grouped in a single page and shown as "Preview Tags." When clicking on the preview tag, the customer will have the chance to see a detailed description of the product.

b. Cost Details
Enter cost for one particular product at a time.
1. Product Unit Price: Enter cost of unit at which you will regularly sell product.
2. Price Before Discount:  To reflect a discount, enter the discounted price in Product Unit Price and enter regular selling price here. For example, To reflect a discount of $20 in a $120 item enter: Product Unit Price: $100 and Price Before Discount: $120
3. Product Qty: Total quantity of this product in stock
4. Small Product Image: Add the path and name of the product image
5. Large Product Image: Add the path and name of the product image
6. On Special: Check if you want to use Price Discounts
7. Weight: Should be listed in Pounds
8. Handling Cost: Shipping and Handling costs

c. Category Details
Use to place the product in the Category, sub-category and sub-sub-category according to how you planned your category structure. Please refer to Add/Mod Categories (A2) in Product Management.

For products in Level 1: (main category) select Cat1, leave Cat2 and Cat3 and press the Submit button.
For products in Level 2: (sub-category) select the main category where this product belongs (Cat1), then select the corresponding Cat2 sub-category and press the Submit button.
For products in Level 3: (sub-sub-category) select the main category where this product belongs (Cat1), then select the corresponding sub-category (Cat2). Finally, select the product's section and press the Submit button

4. Click the Submit button to proceed

Important: In order to be seen properly on the web, every single category must have at least one product listed before creating sub-categories. Do not forget to place your products after creating categories!
