Problems

Q: How come I get "Error Connecting..." when I try to connect?
A:
Makes sure your Host Address is set to ftp.(yourdomain).com

If the problem persists it is most likely a domain name problem:

  • Your domain name is not resolving to our servers yet. (See our domain name F.A.Q.)

  • Your domain has expired, check with your Domain Registrar

  • You have not yet purchased the domain you are trying to use

  • Your domain may not be activated with us yet

Solution:

  • For HOST Address use the server's IP hosting your account
(You can find this IP address in your Hosting Control Panel's left hand side.)

  • Try resolving the domain issue affecting your account first

Q: How come I get "500 Not Log In..." when I try to connect?
A:
Makes sure your user ID and Password is correct and are all in lower case.

5. If you want your computer to remember your password click on Save Password

6. Drag and drop files to upload or download from your site

7. Please note that uploading and downloading is not instantaneous as it takes time to transfer files

8. When finished, close the FTP window
